I hope you will enjoy this self-hypnosis track that I made for you that also contains background sounds of busy places in the hope to help desensitize the listener to the sound of crowded places while I also take the listener into a guided meditation, relaxation hypnotic trance with empowering statements to help promote a faster recovery and hopefully bring you one step closer to be free from Agoraphobia and Social Anxiety Disorder. Obviously, this is not meant to replace any ongoing treatment or medication but may be used in conjunction, preferably with the approval of your doctor. Please send me feedback if this MP3 has improved your life. Thank you so much and good luck! Christian Tatonetti

Agoraphobia can be successfully treated in many cases through a very gradual process of graduated exposure therapy combined with cognitive therapy and sometimes anti-anxiety or antidepressant medications. (From WIKI)

The word “agoraphobia” is an English adaptation of the Greek words agora (αγορά) and phobos (φόβος), and literally translates to “a fear of the marketplace.”

Agoraphobia is a condition where the sufferer becomes anxious in environments that are unfamiliar or where he or she perceives that they have little control. Triggers for this anxiety may include crowds, wide open spaces, or traveling (even short distances). This anxiety is often compounded by a fear of social embarrassment, as the agoraphobic fears the onset of a panic attack and appearing distraught in public.

Agoraphobics may experience panic attacks in situations where they feel trapped, insecure, out of control or too far from their personal comfort zone. In severe cases, an agoraphobic may be confined to his or her home. Many people with agoraphobia are comfortable seeing visitors in a defined space they feel they can control. Such people may live for years without leaving their homes, while happily seeing visitors in and working from their personal safety zones. If the agoraphobic leaves his or her safety zone, they may experience a panic attack.

“Piano and Sitar Music for Deep Relaxation and Sound Sleep” by Christian Tatonetti

“I have been blessed to be playing the last two tracks, Relaxation Music for Babies I and II, for almost a year to my 1 1/2 year old, using it for bedtime and naps. It is miraculous the way it unwinds her from her day into sleep. One evening as I was also drifting off to sleep, I had this knowing that the way the music is aligned that it stimulates the golden mean within the listener, which is the basis of all creation in all of nature. It is like a reset to bring our self back into our original nature.”
